You Now Need To Work 95 Hours A Week…
Everybody’s favorite Southern-Fried Scientologist, Grant Cardone, recently went viral for claiming that, “If you ever want to be a millionaire” you need to work 95 hours a week.
To give credit where credit is due, Grant Cardone is a great marketer.
However, there’s a huge difference between being a good marketer and giving good advice. And today, I want to examine Grant Cardone’s “95 hour” claim while also providing a more realistic path to becoming a millionaire.
Actual Math To $1 Million
$750 a month, invested into the S&P 500 for 30 years will compound to $1.2 million. And while critics may scream “inflation!” or “a million dollars when you’re 50 is worthless!!!!!,” it’s a low-effort path to becoming a millionaire. And it certainly takes less than 95 hours a week of effort.
Investing $750 a month requires you to set aside $25 per day. This is doable for anyone with a job.
And, there are plenty of side-gigs, like being a homework helper or stocking shelves at the grocery store, that pay $15+ per hour. At worst, working part-time for an extra 10–14 hours per week would make you a millionaire in the long-run.
Not to mention pursuing a high-paying, skilled profession or building a profitable small business…
