“Poopy pants salesman closes big deal despite fecal faux pas.”

That’s the gist of a Twitter post I recently read from an account called “Pest Control Guy.” And for whatever reason, it inspired me to look-up publicly traded pest control stocks.

What I found was a doozy…

Rollins, Inc. ($ROL) is a high-growth dividend stock in a wide-moat niche.

What is Rollins?

It’s an exterminator and pest control business that operates all around the world. Through their subsidiaries, the company is killing cockroaches and gassing bedbugs in hotels and hospitals from Sheboygan to Singapore.

Rollins operates under a variety of regional brands you might be familiar with, like Orkin and McCall.

And similar to funeral home conglomerate Service Corporation International, this is an industry many people view as gross or weird. This, coupled with the pest control industry’s regulatory requirements, gives Rollins a wide-moat business advantage.

But unlike Service Corporation, Rollins trades at a premium valuation.

Luckily, there may be an upcoming window of opportunity for would-be investors…
