As investors, we often see stories about people losing their life savings on Blockbuster or MoviePass. Or we hear about manias where everyone buys at the peak, mistiming the market.

Likewise, we’re often bombarded with news stories about an uncertain future, or cataclysmic events that are just on the horizon.

(It’s pretty Common To See Stories Like This — Source)

Today’s article is about none of those things.

Instead, we’re looking at the Voya Corporate Leaders Trust. This is a crazy fund that hasn’t bought a single new stock since 1935. Every stock in it is either an original holding, or a spin-off asset.

What’s interesting is that many original stocks belong to companies that no longer exist. Here are some examples:

  • American Can
  • National Biscuit
  • Allied Chemical & Dye
  • F. W. Woolworth Company
  • American Radiator Company
  • Socony-Vacuum Oil Company
