Let’s Check-In On These Two Warren Buffett Stocks…
Accountability. That’s the motivator behind today’s article.
I often write about long-term investments. But I rarely pen follow-up articles on how these assets have performed. This is a problem because casual readers can miss out on some interesting opportunities.
And, a lack of follow-up content can make good investments look bad.
Here’s an easy example.
I’m a big fan of Industrias Bachoco. This is a Mexican poultry producer that raises meat birds and egg-layers. If you go to a supermarket in Mexico, you’ll see multiple shelves of Industrias Bachoco products.
In 2020 and 2021, I would often buy Industrias Bachoco stock for around $40 per share.
And, I used to write about this company on a regular basis (fun fact: this old article where I discussed Industrias Bachoco also suggested two highly lucrative options trades as well as perpetual crypto laggard Chainlink).
However, if you look-up the NYSE Industrias Bachoco ticker today, you’d find the company listed as “defunct.”
Was it a bad investment?
Not at all.
