I Published 3 Books Last Month, Here’s How Much I Earned
They say the numbers never lie. And while doing my taxes, I made an interesting discovery: Writing eBooks is one of my highest ROI activities.
Armed with this knowledge, I set a goal to write an extra one Kindle short per week. And over the recent winter break, I penned, and published, three new stories.
Here’s how much they made from January 1st to January 5th…

Each book was in a different niche under a different penname, with one book being a flop (about $0.11 in total revenue), one book being a minor success (a couple bucks thanks to one sale), and the third title generating almost all the profits.
This is not a “how to self-publish” article. Instead, I want to discuss why I believe self-publishing is superior to many “sexy” online businesses.
