Dead on!

Had a part-time remote work job in 2018 and quit.

Why?

The weekly one hour Zoom meeting. Huge waste of time, recapped common sense material, helped no one, and added a layer of unnecessary stress / boredom.

There is no reason companies need constant video calls or online meetings. It wastes time and hurts morale.

Most meetings can be substituted for a one-paragraph email.
