A lot of articles on Seeking Alpha and other sites are very excited about 3M going down.

I think jumping in during the crisis will lead to more paper loses for new investors. People already in it see their dividend going farther - plus gains potential if the lawsuits fizzle out or end up less severe (see Bayer for a comparable situation).
